Since the day the music died. Incredible to realise that there are now youthful grandparents around not then born

Never agreed that 'the music' died with Buddy Holly at all. As far as time goes, it 'just keeps rollin' along' and, imo, we're lucky to be alive to reflect on it.

Agreed, Mike.
Though. As a 15yr old schoolboy at the time. Many of us were sad, at the finality of it.....

That crash and the Busby Babes crash seemed unbelievable to me and my circle at the time - it just didn't seem possible - but then there was Dallas....
