A bad year again
« on: Feb 04, 2019, 08:42:24 PM »
My sister Sheila died earlier this evening, so inside thirteen months I have lost my wife Veronica, my brother Vernon, and now my sister.
I had hoped 2019 might be a little better than the awful 2018, but clearly not
Mike
Thank you for the days, the days you gave me.

I am sorry to hear this. 2011 was a very bad year for our family. Andy and Peter are sorry as well. Andy went to Dad's funeral but Peter was not with us then. Andy and Peter worried when I was in hospital.

I had a spell of it myself not so long ago, lost several people I cared about. I hope it turns for you now.

My father was the oldest in his family and he was the last to die. Not many of his sort of age came to his funeral.

Thanks, everyone. I am also the oldest of my generation and it is getting very depressing seeing the 'youngsters' go. Apart from one cousin who died in a hotel fire aged only 23, the others have all been natural causes, ranging from 51-76.

Sorry to hear of your loss. Many sympathies. Be kind to yourself.

With families  shrinking many are on their own. Many members of families followed work. Each went their own way, then the contact was lost. There are many stories out there

Take care
