Sueing your parents
« on: Feb 07, 2019, 08:01:29 PM »
A 27-year-old Indian man plans to sue his parents for giving birth to him without his consent.

Mumbai businessman Raphael Samuel told the BBC that it's wrong to bring children into the world because they then have to put up with lifelong suffering.

I wonder how he'll get on?

You'll have had your tea.

I don’t think it will be long before we get the booklet through the letter box  telling us what we can or can’t do and can or can’t say .
It’s getting rediculous

It might seem daft to you & me but it's not daft to the waste-of-space academics with useless non-degrees in sociology, gender studies & all that crap.

They have well paid lifelong careers in producing rubbish ideas such as this.

I know that in the US minors can become 'emancipated' from their parents and become independent in certain circumstances but that man is of a whole different order..

This is more ridiculous than when the auditors of my pension scheme asked me why I had paid in for a London pension when I retired in Birmingham.
My 2 daughters did not send me a message before they were born to say my wife would die and they were going to marry Birmingham men and they would want me in Birmingham when I retired.
It is all about money. I paid in at the London rate so I am now being paid my pension at the London rate.
It makes no difference to my ex employers where I live now.

I think it's telling that both his parents are lawyers. More to it than apparent, perhaps..

The man follows the philosophy of antinatalism.....

From the BBC.....

In a statement, his mother Kavita Karnad Samuel explained her response to "the recent upheaval my son has created".
"I must admire my son's temerity to want to take his parents to court knowing both of us are lawyers. And if Raphael could come up with a rational explanation as to how we could have sought his consent to be born, I will accept my fault," she said.
