Instead of starting numerous threads for the running club, could you just keep posting all the updates under one thread called the Running Club?

This title didn't relate to the Running Club & I might have missed it.

Quite!

On another forum (busier) where I'm a member, a moderator would link a couple of threads started by one user on the same topic. They'd then put a message on not to start new threads about the same topic, but to add to the existing one. Failure to do so would result in a ban.

Ahh! but it is more interesting Brian's way because it makes the forum look busier..  Also I wouldn't care to go back to a Running thread to talk about the price of sausages. I would get chucked out..
Off to the Co-op soon.. I'll keep my eyes peeled.

Precicesly the reason for having them all under the same title. I got fooled. I thought this might be a thread on some important topic such as beggars, drunk drivers, cigarette pricing, men in pubs, dog walking, taking granddaughters out, importance of pensions, eviction of neighbours, or who knows what else.

Sorry but I forgot to check vinegar pricing in Aldi.

You missed out how to get out of paying for care 41.   ;)

How could I have forgotten? So many vital must see topics.  ::)

Initially I put Brian on ignore and stopped reading Brian threads. Then that became just not responding. Then only rarely responding. Now I'm hooked again. It's like a class A drug.

I gather that sometimes, if you are prepared to take the social services on, you can get the council to pay for dementia care, especially if you can show that the patient does not have resources to pay for it himself, for example if a relative has the right to live in the house.

That's all very well but Scrumpy still needs the price of vinegar from the Co-op.

I helped with that last week.
A social worker wanted a bungalow selling to pay for the step mother's care.
The bungalow belonged to the step son. His mother had left him her half and the father left him his half on the proviso he let the step mother occupy it until death or going in to care.
The social worker was convinced the bungalow belonged to the step mother as she was married to the father.

I find it amazing it seems the policy of Birmingham City Council to want a bungalow sold which the patient does not own. I  just wondering how many people are taken in by this.

It's all down to Brexit. The pills I was prescribed are currently in very short supply.
