the Beguine is a latin rhythm but other than 'Begin The Beguine'
i cant think of another piece of music using that rhythm...

Interesting thought, Crabby. I've heard the rhythm used in other things but none specifically come to mind.
 Google tells me that 'Beka' or Begua is used in patois to describe the female figure so I guess that it's a rhythm for seduction.
