MR have you tried the "healthier option" (lower calorie) ready meals? some of them are quite nice, Tesco do a mushroom risotto, or a chicken bean and pea risotto, along with cottage pie, spag bol etc, all of which (in my opinion) are really nice, and you can always add some extra veg, rice or pasta if you have enough calories left in the "pot"
and I know what you mean about salads in this weather.
Well I'm nipping into the pub followed by a quick trip around Tesco, one of the things I'll be buying (at 3 for £6) are the meals as mentioned above
