I've just been checking my mobile phone allowance for the month, this months allowance ends at 23:59 on the 13th, it includes 250 minutes, 5000 texts and 500mb, so far this month I've used 8 minutes in calls, no texts and no internet, I did go "pay as you go" once but the phone purchase costs are too high after my old phone packed up.

Got to agree with you Zoony with the film Joker. it was not entertaining at all, and no joke.

Glad to say the ophthalmic clinic went well. My right eye remains good, my left stays useless as it has done for thirty years or so

It seems that award-winning films aren't so much about entertainment these days Hugh. If they're not fully woke or supportive of the modern agendae they have little chance. Hollywood has lost to the Indie sector as far as good, old-fashioned fun goes.

I foolishly thought that my new TV would be installed for me. A naive assumption. I called an aeriel installer at random and it turned out he lived down the street. No aeriel business due to high winds so he popped around and installed it for me. £20 in his pocket and all done. Result!  ;D

Just watched the latest 'Endeavour' (no spoilers..), something I usually enjoy, and was puzzled by how disjointed and clumsy it was..I noticed it was directed by Shaun Evans..6/10 Shaun..

As I mentioned, my clinic result was good, but the walking involved has made my hel flare up again, so I’ll be spending as much of the day as possible with my leg up

Woke in the middle of the night and looked out to find it snowing heavily.  This morning, it largely seems to have cleared and no more than a light dusting on the roofs.  Still a bit windy, but might drive down to Sainsburys and stock up on things I can only get there - otherwise I wouldn't use it.
You'll have had your tea.

You did right getting the man to do it for you.  They say it's easy to do these things, yeah easy when you know how.   You have spared yourself hours of scratching your head and a mini nervous breakdown, like our experience.  Hope you enjoy  the new TV, unfortunatly the programmes don't get any better.
