What's everone doing today?
« on: Feb 25, 2019, 11:24:59 AM »
its a beautiful morning! I've just hung a line of washing, and I'm leaving to put in a shift at the charity shop.  A steady ten minute walk in the sun, then who knows what treasures await to be priced and arranged on the shelves.  No time to be bored.

Apologies for the spelling mistake in the title, I'm mortified!

I'm mincing. That is to say, mincing some of the mutton that we butchered at the weekend.  It was quite an old ewe and had a lot of fat so it will mostly go to shepherds pies, Rogan josh etc..   I prefer mutton to lamb - much better flavour.

Our friends with the smallholding have prepared 4 lambs over the weekend, but their mincer broke down and is off for repairs.  We're using our old Kenwood Chef that I bought Mrs. T  46 years ago.
You'll have had your tea.

I've been soldering up the tank capacitor block for my
Double Resonance Solid State Tesla Coil, so there !

Is that the same as dual resonant or is there a difference?

Beautiful day here.. Yesterday I painted the fence that surrounds my decking..
I got my car sorted.. Bertie is here this afternoon so I will go out for a walk..
Everything will be alright in the end, and if it’s not alright, its not the end.

Double resonance is where two systems resonate together,
one powering the other to resonate at the same frequency
to each other as is done in Double Resonant Tesla Coils.

Dual resonance refers to theoretical physics.

I have some very limited knowledge of dual resonance but I wasn't referring to dual resonance.

I was wondering if there were any differences between your double resonance solid star Tesla coil & a dual-resonant sold state Tesla coil, or if they're just two different terms for the same thing.

I was interested in what you use it for.
