Yes Mike, Take care of yourself.  We'll be here when you get back.

What a variety of different things we have all been doing! From the enjoyable, like Scrumpy going for a walk, to the interesting (if technical) FB, the slightly amusing Traveller, (the mind boggled when he said he was mincing), the mundane and perhaps worrying for Raven, and a sad duty for Mike.
Just because you’re offended doesn’t mean you’re right.

I was interested in what you use it for.
There is no need to have a use for a Tesla coil. Just having one is enough. ;D

Can't say I am looking forward to it.
Funerals are quite awful. I sincerely hope that the next one I attend is my own. Actuarial tables say it should be.

I was wondering if there were any differences between your double resonance solid star Tesla coil & a dual-resonant sold state Tesla coil, or if they're just two different terms for the same thing.

I was interested in what you use it for.

Both same.
I will have 3 running.  The plan is to play bass and treble clefs of Bach's Toccata and Fugue
as a start.

Yes.
It's a long steep learning curve to get there and
I find the climbing at 86 years of age very, very steep !
But it helps keep dementia at bay. ;D

Indeed, that's why I'm always into new things but I suppose a Tesla coil is a really good way of keeping the spark alive.  ;D

Not a good way of keeping yourself alive though if you get it wrong.

In the instructions for one DIY DRSSTC project, it contains the advice of not to use the equipment if inebriated. Lol.

It really begs the question as to whether or not anyone who needs this advice should be fiddling around with a DRSSTC in the first place.  ;D

I think, in our part of the North, we have only got up to Spring-like Scrumpy but still enjoyably unseasonable.

I will be decluttering.  I was decluttering yesterday and will no doubt be decluttering tomorrow.  The shock of having to declutter my mother's home (she is now in a care home), in order to sell it, made me feel I couldn't leave that for someone to do for me and I also want to move to a flat so need it up for sale (which it could have been) but also ready to move.  Why do we keep some of the things that we do?  I am, thank-fully, not as hoarding as my mother had become but still …  I may get a sunny trip to the tip or the charity shop as light relief at some point  ;)

The vote for Brexit was a vote to take back what we hadn't lost in order to lose what we actually have.
