Fitted the new garden gate this morning.  Another bright, warm and breezy day so got another clothes wash done and onto the line.
Cut the grass this afternoon.  Making scotch egg and salads for dinner.
You'll have had your tea.

I have just changed my clothes into something more comfortable..
I have an old favourite top that I love to wear.. Unfortunately it has many ‘bobbles ‘ over it.. So, I found a razor.. the one I use for my legs and started to shave the front of my old comfy top..
Shock, horror.. I now have a hole in my bestie..
Everything will be alright in the end, and if it’s not alright, its not the end.

We went to town, this morning. For a coffee, and a look round.
Bought a plastic dustbin from Wilkinson's. To use as a third water butt.

Just need some rain now. To fill them all.....  ;)

Not a lot apart from getting a new walking stick as mentioned elsewhere, now preparing myself for my fortnightly evening of cribbage. You#d think in a building of 65 flats there would be more than 2 of us to play cribbage - let alone find 4 for bridge!
Probably most of 'em are couch potatoes glued to the goggle box. We rarely get more tha 8 - 10 for a coffee morning once a week. Tried to get a games evening going, darts, dominoes, draughts, also on offer were Monopoly, Scrabble, Trivial pursuits or cards, no response.

I've been in the garden most of the afternoon sitting, not digging or weeding and a lovely day it's been too.  I hope there's more to come.

I sort of understand that Mike. Personally I hate people trying to 'organise' me for anything.

Me too Alex - sitting in the garden (read yard) lazily tossing the odd grape to the blackbird who has adopted me!

That may be true of some, but when we hear others saying there's nothing to do/happening, we tend to wonder what they'd like to do.

That's different. If they're moaning but unwilling to do anything about it, to heck with 'em.
