House flies are distinctly odd. Everyone knows they fly under light fittings but when I've been bored enough to watch I see that they fly in triangles which slowly rotate. Sort of living spirograph. The light doesn't even need to be turned on.

Yet those that test these things have decided that their flight is completely random.. I seem to remember reading somewhere..

We clearly have a better class of fly than those testing fellows. Far more purposeful.

well. I've made it to eight o'clock on the first night of winter - which is how I see the clock change. Mind you, after spending quite a while reading the paper, looked at the pitch black night and thought 'must be getting near bedtime' - it was seven thirty

Nothing to report here, so a normal day for me.   I'm so glad I can sit down with a cuppa and watch a comedy film or a romantic drama.  It does help, works for me anyway.

To be honest, I don’t see anything to be cheerful about. Sorry

From a gardener's point of view, that makes sense..Not being a gardener I congratulate the grantee on his ability to persuade.  ;D

Mike I am pretty much in the same boat as you, I live on my own after losing my Wife Yvonne almost two years ago. But not going to be sad about living I will leave that to the thousands of people losing their homes and jobs. They have reason to be unhappy we don't. There are thousands of elderly people suffering with ill heath would love to change places with us.

Today as normal my little dog Roxy decided it was time for me to get up before dawn. No use ignoring her she a very bossy. But still I can be thankful she had her walk before the rain arrived. I am now relaxing with a cup of tea. For the rest of the day nothing planned although if Yvonne was still around I would be cleaning the windows or some thing.

Beautiful morning after a day of rain yesterday..
I took something out of the freezer for my lunch.. I'm not sure what it is yet.. Will have to wait until it de-frosts..  I love a mystery..
Everything will be alright in the end, and if it’s not alright, its not the end.
