Well after enduring 50 minutes of GBH at the hands of a charming young lady physio, it will be interesting to see how the shoulder feels tomorrow

Just spoken with our granddaughter on FaceTime. Today is her eleventh birthday. Can’t believe how the years have flown. If only Veronica had been here to see her

Well as you can imagine the weather's not great in Wales, but I decided to have a trip to Aberystwyth anyway, very wet and VERY VERY windy, they've had a real bashing overnight and a lot of the beach isn't where it should be (along with some of the promenade) so a few road closures (along with a fair few shops) consequently it's a bit of a ghost town in places.
The drive there and back was an experience, Hell of a lot of surface water (so bad in places that there were temporary traffic lights) I spent a lot of the journey in either the middle of the road or on the wrong side (whenever practical)

I remember a beach on Achill Island in the west of Ireland years ago, the sandy beach disappeared during a storm, it came back some years later after another storm

The first was sold by Mick as builders sand. When the building fell down Murphy was paid to dispose of the dodgy concrete.

The problem is, incentive is lacking.....and I do love  " Il dolce far niente..."   The sweet doing nothing !.... :D

And there was the Irishman who was asked what was the Irish equivalent of the Spanish 'manana'. He thought a while. then replied 'Sure, and I don't believe we have a word to express such a high degree of urgency'
