try remembering a staircase from childhood
and very slowly go down one step at a time
just concentrate on each step
with a bed from your childhood where you felt safe waiting there at the foot of the stairs... goodnight

When reading the above "with a bed from your childhood",  at first I took it to mean carrying the bed down the stairs with you  ;D .   I thought, that probably works 'cos you'd be knackered.

Have to say that sleep is a rare commodity for me. Until Veronica died, I didn't sleep too badly - something like 22:30 or a bit later to a bit before 0500, but since she died, if I get more than three hours a night it's a bonus. Problem is that every few days it catches up with me. I may put my feet up late afternoon and not wake until 2100 or so, but more likely I will sit in front of the TV, and the the next thing that I know it is midnight or later.

Thank you for the days, the days you gave me.

Did you ever learn hypnosis or self-hypnosis Crabby?
