I feel hurt when folk denigrate peoples' religious beliefs; it is a deeply personal thing which may appear derogatory to some but is a source of great comfort to others.

I'm not religious but I do love churches and always visit them if I'm on my travels.  Last year I went inside the Sistine chapel and I found it very emotional, I have no idea why it brought me to tears - but it did.   I didn't see the programme Ann but it sounds interesting.
I'm looking forward to summer, the rain gets warmer.

I am not religious in the slightest but I would never have a go at anyone who is. That's their choice to make, as it's mine to be different from them.

Johned and Raven - I totally agree with you.  I tried to word my original message really carefully as I didn't want anyone to take offence.  I think that is what is great about all of us - we are all different, be terrible if we were all the same  ;D   I always respect a person's views about anything.

Alex22 - I am the same, I don't know why I am so fascinated with it all, there are some beautiful churches around.  Must have been great to see the Sistine Chapel.
