Your running club has limited membership.  Perhaps you should join your local parkrun? My daughter, son in law and youngest granddaughter do it most Saturdays.  The one in our local park is very popular.

GrannyMac.. I often see large groups of families running in our park.. It is a great idea.. It is always at a sensible time.. never early in the morning..
Everything will be alright in the end, and if it’s not alright, its not the end.

We have the midnight runners in Birmingham. They run on the number 2 bus route.

Blakey is an inspector on a Luxton bus which I think is Luton misspelt which is near to StephenM123.

I suspect Luton had nothing to do with the TV series. BTW I am well over 20 miles away

20 miles is not far in London terms. I commuted to work in London from St Albans.

Are London miles different to Birmingham or Hertfordshire  ones?

You have fast trains in the London area. One of my friends was retired in London and came back to Birmingham. Because he was not on a train route lt took him nearly an hour to commute 9 miles door to door in Birmingham where as it took about the same time to commute from Harpenden to his office in Moorgate.
