Love it. Years ago lived near a small park, busy in summer, deserted in winter, so I used to go there of a Sunday and feed the squirrels. Got to the stage where I would have a little queue of them waiting to take a nut from my hand, dash off and eat it - except for one little smartie - he's link a front paw over my little finger and help himself to two or three nuts before making way to the next in line, As there were plenty of nuts to go round, I didn't have the heart to 'ration' him!

She has a very good understanding with animals, I'm sure animals can sense these things.

That is very true, animals do have a very good sense of things.


I actually envy your wife to be able to do that with a squirrel as I would be too nervous.

While she was sorting the nuts out a squirrel put it's front paws in her hand, she said the paws were quite soft.
