I find myself when alone in the bedroom, talking to any one of my wife's doll collection particularly one which is really well featured and quite beautiful.  I feel her eyes follow me around the room!  Whereas my younger son despises the lot of them and says it is like living with the souls of the dead which is quite macabre.  We also have one of these Alexa gadgets which plays most music on request and it too, I find, makes primitive conversation.
