Only if I get to fire a gun.. fly a chopper ... eat tinned corned beef.. and have weekends off.

Our politicians have created a country that is not worth fighting for. In fact if you betray signs of patriotism at the recruitment stage you won't get in.

I would certainly not recommend any young person join up today.  If things go awry, your country will not stand by you and you will be thrown to the wolves, right or wrong.  Look also and learn a lesson from the dirty tricks the government in recent years got up to; finishing service people just short of their 22 year pensionable retirement term so they did not have to pay pensions but only redundancy.

I must admit that I find it hard to understand why anyone would want to join our Armed Forces today - expected to do more and more with less and less, regarded by the chattering classes as a waste of space, sent off to do what nobody else wants to touch by people who won't have to do the touching, being treated - by the personal intervention of the PM - less generously than IRA terrorists - the list just goes on and on.

I temped in the office of a company that made underwear for M&S when the kids were small.  We were able to buy rejects really cheaply, and there was rarely much wrong.  My mum liked full slips, I got her a few.  But although they looked similar to Diane's they weren't pure silk.

All the work has gone abroad now.  Makes you wonder how Underworld in Corrie keeps going 👙👙

I haven’t worn a slip/ petticoat in years.. As a matter of fact I can’t even remember wearing them..  I do like their bras and knickers though.. Good old cotton ones without the frills.. Or should I say ‘thrills’. !
