England v Pakistan
Oh dear, not looking very good at all. The failure to take early wickets is costing England dear, as is losin four wickets inside the first 25 overs.

England outplayed. Won the toss and lost the plot. Pakistan out-thought them and out-hit them..Which is rare these days. Anyway, that's their bad match out of the way so it's onward and upward from here on in. Well-played Pakistan.

I'm rooting for Afghanistan but that rain break did them no favours

Malinga finished it off in style - not totally over the hill yet. Afghanistan must be cursing British weather - they had SL panicking before the rain came

It was a relief to see the real England turn up today. That last fiasco was slightly worrying...Makes for an interesting tournament though.

I was beginning to worry, not that England ever looked like losing after that opening stand, but that untol the last knockings we didn't look like bowling SL out. Apparently Archer's quickest deliveries were touching 95 mph, something we've needed for a long time

India look so good. Excellent captaincy. A really formidable bunch today. Australia didn't seem to have any real form, inspiration or even the rub of the track..
