Charity Shops and the volunteers are admirable.
Jumble Sales years ago...and church bazarres..jars of preserves, raffles, penny stall etc..

I'd rather  covert  to a liquid diet than pay that to the thieving sods, or employ somebody to chew my food first, before giving it to me

Dentists, like vets, certainly know how to charge.

We've just paid £1,000 for my wife to have her two upper front teeth crowned after she lost out to a spare rib at a barbecue.

Charity Shops...have they become a clearing house for people downsizing etc; ?
     I'm having a "clear it" session now today as I am considering my 2nd down size. My dustbin is reproaching me today.

I took a heavy bag of clothes, to our local Barnardo's shop, today. Gobsmacked!
 "Sorry, sweetheart. Can't take them, we're full. No floor space. No staff to process"... 


The local hospice shop, 3 doors away, was delighted. And called me, Sir.....
