over 50's life insurance
« on: May 31, 2019, 06:45:14 PM »

Another envelope suggesting that I take out an over 50's life policy dropped in the letter box this morning.
Normally I just throw them in the bin without opening them.
But this time I decided to have a look at their 'offer'.

It worked out that in 12 years I would start paying more in than what my executor would get back. So someone has decided that I will peg it at any time beyond 82!! Nice I thought then it went in the bin with the others!!

Junk mail like this is a pain in the arse. On most days my wife or I get this junk usually from SUNLIFE. Let them keep wasting their money on postage  etc.

Life insurance for over 50s should be cheaper as there is less to insure.

A man I know keeps on being asked if he has life assurance. Answer no. What is the point when he has no relatives?.
