Delicious Irony
« on: Jun 28, 2019, 08:14:16 PM »
Had a good chuckle today when I read of a burglar, a prolific offender being held in custody, who's house was broken into and all his stuff stolen.
I hope they shat on his carpet too!

Actually it happens a lot more than you'd imagine. Way back when, before Facebookers publish that their houses are vacant by posting 'selfies' from beaches in Barbados; the old lags use to see who was bunged up in the nick, so they could plunder the troth of their impeded rivals!

Perfectly logical. Honour among thieves was when the world was in black and white and even then I'm not too sure there ever was.

Social media is brilliant at showing the world what people are up to..
A disabled person claiming benefits doing press ups.. :)
A grand wedding abroad with all the trimmings.. on benefits..
A wedding of someone who is already married.. or dead even.!!
There was even some stupid thieves with all their  'spoils' spread out in front of them..

But the worse, IMO, is the big game hunter posing proudly , rifle in hand, with his defenceless kill..
Everything will be alright in the end, and if it’s not alright, its not the end.

In Liverpool, long before social media, the trick was for taxi drivers to inform their 'associates' of the addresses of the families they'd dropped off at the airport.

I wholeheartedly agree.

The social media platforms, who can't wait to ban Tommy Robinson or anyone else who isn't left-wing, are only too happy to allow these so-called hunter scum to post their appalling images.

I think you'll find that wasn't just in Liverpool, it's an old trick and like an open invitation really.  Maybe I'm paranoid, but I didn't like getting a taxi into town for a night out.  I'd always pretend to shout ta-ra to someone as I closed the door  8)

I only have personal knowledge of Liverpool, any other place would be just hearsay.

There's only one set of car hub caps in Liverpool & they just get shared so everyone has them for a short time. ;D
