cheese love it or hate it,??

I think many of us like cheese , simply because it taste nice , and of course there are many varieties, and flavours  on the market and from  many countries too,

so what is it that makes us think at times im going to make myself a nice cheese sandwich , or simply slice of a piece of cheese and eat it,

are we addicted to cheese, and for that matter what else that we eat we could be addicted to as well,.

do you have any theories as to why it is that we like cheese,

I think it is purely a matter of individual taste. My late wife loved Brie and Camembert, tolerated Cheddar provided not too strong, couldn't stand Stilton, Gorgonzola and the like. I can't remember ever coming across a cheese that I haven't liked since we moved away from the ration cheese of the war and the immediate post-war years, which the family christened 'mousetrap'

All my family like cheese in all sorts of varieties.  OH currently has vintage cheddar and comte in the fridge.  I only like it when cooked, melted on a baked spud or on a pizza.

I can take it or leave it, but cooked in any form an absolute no no.

As I said before, I've never come across a cheese I don't like since food rationing ended - it's just that I like some more than others.
Favourites? After a good, heavy meal with red wine - Stilton. After a relatively light meal - Cheddar and Camembert or Brie. A quick snag? Cheddar. Etc,, etc..

I've never come across cheddar with crunchy bits Scrumpy, I like strong cheddar so that's one I missed.
