Fairer Voting
« on: Jul 23, 2019, 12:04:11 PM »
I think it would be fairer if your votes count for more if you pay higher tax.
If you pay no tax your vote should not be counted. Up to £500 a year it should count as 1, 2 up to £1,000 a year etc.
This will mean the more tax you pay the more say you will have in how the country is ran and how your money is spent.

So, what you are saying is , people like YOU should have more say then poor old ME..
You flatter yourself love..  God forbid that the decisions of the country was left to people like YOU..
Everything will be alright in the end, and if it’s not alright, its not the end.

For a fairer society Brian the Brain should share his money with us so we all have an equal number of votes! 😁

I think the poor people’s votes should count more and they should have more say in how things are done as when it comes down to it it affects their lives more than it does those who have money  😀😀😀😀

Perfectly reasonable, that would give Mo Salah about 21,000 votes. Sounds sensible to me !!

I don't think that ' the poor people's vote should count more'..
I think every man is entitled to a vote.. Rich or poor.

Blimey there would be more idlers.. more claiming benefits.. everything 'free' for them..
We, as a country,  would be stoney broke in no time..
There are so many who have added NOTHING to the pot but expect LOADS out of it.. Because it is 'their right'..  ..  Nasty people.
Everything will be alright in the end, and if it’s not alright, its not the end.

I think we need someone worth voting for to start with. The candidates round here are third rate.

I share my money with my family and give some to health charities which we could all need but not the homeless or beggars.

But that has been what the Leave voters have been saying for three years Scrumpy.  50% plus a bit matter and 50% minus a bit don't matter at all.  Not a jot, not in anyway a reason to find a compromise.
The vote for Brexit was a vote to take back what we hadn't lost in order to lose what we actually have.
