Woman complaining she has no pension.
« on: Aug 24, 2019, 07:14:09 AM »
A woman was complaining she is being made redundant at the end of this month.
She said she is 65 and said she has no occupational or private pension.
I know there is a pension scheme where she works but she did not contribute to it. I am just wondering why she is complaining.

And I'm just wondering why you repeat the same thing time and time again !!

It might not be the same woman this time.

Why pick on a woman? What about MEN and LGBTQTPPTQQTBBCITVQQQB+ this forum really must sort itself out? ???

To be fair, its usually a man that talks to Brian... 😉

And, if 'the woman' had only been able to amass a small pension, she might be better off claimimg Pension Credit!

Why do all these people come up to you and tell you their pension woes? Apart from friends and colleagues nobody has ever mentioned pensions to me!

Probably she thought I could do something about it.
My newish car was in sight. I do however buy things for my granddaughters. I spend a lot of my late wife's widowers pension on our granddaughters. I am sure that is what she would gave wanted.

Perhaps she was not complaining, just stating facts.

I don't see her problem. she will be able to claim the State Pension as well as Pension Credit either over the next few months, depending on her date of birth or it may take it until mid 2020.

In the mean time she should make a claim for UC and start looking earnestly for another job.
Quite simple really.

Strange as it may sound maybe she is after our Brian with his big house and executive car. 😁

Might move in with a cat as Brian needs educating about them! 🐈
