I remember when we could stay out till dark...playing on our own street,,,no cars about and my mum would bring me out some chips wrapped in paper because we were all having too much fun playing , to go in for our tea...and oh those chips tasted good :)

We used to go camping /fishing over the chalk/ sandpits as 12 year olds , kids can't do it now as it just don't seem safe and also Lakeside shopping centre sits there now

the supermarket just wants you to buy their goods, they shouldnt be the ones to police our use of plastic bags, our mams all had shopping bags, only a few people actually walk to the supermarket, how difficult might it be to keep your bags in the boot of the car?...
