Veal
« on: Oct 01, 2019, 03:42:54 PM »
Anybody else like veal?  I don't see it much here, but in Europe we were able to buy it in almost any supermarket.  It was great to have proper Wiener Schnitzels  in stead of "Wiener art" (in the style of).

No I'd never buy veal.  It's a cruel trade - end of.

Haven't had veal in years - just don't see it around, but have nothing against it - meat is meat

In the past you might have legitimately criticised veal production, but things have moved on.  I have no problems with it - and I love Wiener Schnitzels.

The EU may have banned the crate, but it's still a cruel side of farming.

Well, I've read it - so no more milk for human children is the real message - that will be popular. The emotive language - 'dragged from the mother's side' 'steal the milk'
. Hands up all those who have stolen milk in their cuppa.

The language may be 'flowery'  but the facts remain.  I don't intend to get in a disagreement Mike, I answered Traveller's question ' does anyone like veal'  I then answered his comment about "things have moved on "

Good job we don't all think the same isn't it ?  it makes this forum so much more interesting.
