Well, that was a well balanced article - NOT!  A load of vegans using their emotional language trying to ram their message down our throats.  OK, so you don't eat veal - all the more for me.  The continental type looks lighter than UK rose veal, but I must see if I can get any locally.

Rear them for longer and sell on as beef ?  ok it will cost the farmers more money, but if we paid more for our milk the dairy farmers would be paid more.  Perhaps that's too simple..... :)

i am not throwing brickbats at anyone.... i wish i was a vegetarian
but my point of view might be a bit different to most..
i have been to a slaughter house, call it what you will, to me it is a slaughter house
but...
and i do mean this
every portion of meat we eat costs about ten portions of vegetables to rear to the age of slaughter....
except veal of course
