I'm sure there's a few other years we could go back to and supply the same.  That very illiberal, undemocratic unless you happen to share her point of view, leader of the Lib Dems Jo Swinton for one, heaven forbid worse than comrade Corbin. Followed by Scotland's Jimmy Crankie (Nicola Sturgeon).  There is a very long list, would take too long to post more.

1949 was the year I met the young lady who would years later become my wife!
Seventy-one years wed.  Am I eligible for The Long Service and Good Conduct Medal?  Would my inglorious military service count lol?

That's lovely being married 71 years.  We have been married 49 years and I joke, if I had murdered him would have been out of jail years ago.

I'm a bit puzzled by the maths here. How can you have been married 71 years  - 1948 - if you didn't meet your good lady until 1949 and married her 'years later'? Time travel?
