Gotta say I'm with Scrumpy...boil water a flash of salt, drop eggs from cup into said pan cook till eggs set.  P,s.don't forget to discard shells first😘

I used to do that, but the eggs always lost some of the white which bobbled around separately - the main element of the egg OK although a bit of a mess, but the bits of white which had gone walkabout always tasted watery, so I now use an egg poacher - much better results. It is a pan with an upper element which can take u to four eggs
