Mike I to used to hate onions, but since getting married love them and cannot get enough of them, even to the extent of peeling them and eating them like an apple raw.
Sunday dinner for the two of us is roast chicken with mash lots of veg apple sauce and stuffing. Tomorrow the legs and what is left of the breast with chips peas and sweetcorn. If on the rare occasion the family come round a large piece of pork in the slow cooker done in port wine with mixed herbs bay leaf and salt and pepper, pulled pork with all the trimmings and for me lots of fried onions.
