It's because it's someone else's fault that she hasn't been told she's supposed to wear it.

I remember being a teen and didn't think it was cool to be seen in a jacket, my two were just the same. I bet her mum made her wear it and she took it off as soon as she was out of sight of her house. ;D

Children around these parts don't seem to wear coats whatever the weather.. Unless Mummy has dressed them..
We used to go out at the weekend all doled up.. No coats.. Coats would spoil the look.
Everything will be alright in the end, and if it’s not alright, its not the end.

I used to wrap up my younger daughter and she would walk round the corner to her friend's house, obviously undoing everything as she walked.  Her friend's mother would wrap her up again before they set off for school.

Had to post a parcel, at lunchtime. Cold, and raining heavily.....

Lots of young teenage schoolkids, outside the chippy. All soaking wet.

Couldn't help but notice.
All the girls, were wearing unbuttoned cardigans, over their soaked/ see through cotton shirts, and black bras.

It's a strange world.

Dayjo.. My mum thought it was a ‘strange world’ in my day when I used to go out on winters evening with my mini skirt just covering my frilly knickers.  ;)
