Corbyn
« on: Nov 07, 2019, 10:46:18 AM »
Corbyn says young people should not pay their way. Several older people near me they should not have to pay their way. Middle age people say they are struggling paying for children.

Who is in a position to pay their way?.

If we still had mines and chimneys I would send children down there as the Victorians did. Today's kids are over privileged lazy little buggers.

We've had serious flooding here today, I've just seen some Facebook pictures of some over priviliged lazy little buggers pushing cars that have got stuck.  They're soaked, but smiling and pleased to help.

Young people have never paid their way have they? Depending, of course, on who you count as a young person.

Today's kids are over privileged lazy little buggers.

That's what's known as a generalization.

Damn well typical of today's youngsters.

I don't think they were lazy. I can remember helping an elderly couple get their car out of the mud. I drove it forward and took it around in a big semi circle. They wanted to pay for my help but the money went in to the guide dogs box. We wound them up a bit saying young drivers were better and they laughed.

You actually took money from an elderly couple  ?  Shame on you Brian, even if it did go in the box.
