Has anyone had the winter fuel allowance yet, or have the powers to be decided not to give it this year ?

If it was either of those, couples with the same surname at the same address would get it at the same time.  I think it could be based on when we got our state pension, mine started in May, my husband's in October.  I also got my pension several years before him.

The WASPI's weren't shouting for pension equality in those days.

I've not had my letter yet.

We usually get ours together but my wife had her letter a week ago and it hit the bank account Tuesday this week.  No sign of mine yet. :-(
