Totally agree Dave. There's a few things like that (mainly abbreviations) that annoy me. There's a young woman i talk to and yesterday she said she was going to saino's. Sainsbury's apparently....

I use Crimbo particularly when texting, it's just a short version.

Why? It's shorter - but has no relationship, so can't be an abbreviation - why not use (not that I like it much) Xmas which is even shorter and has a clear relationship - i.e., Cross - Christian
