Minds very simple to use and no gadgets to worry about Klondike. I chucked in what I needed to use up if it doesn't taste nice I will add something to it.

It turned out very nice, but the Broccoli over powered the Mushrooms. Very pleased I enjoy Broccoli because it high in iron which my body lacks.

Ours is simple enough. I just wasn't overly thrilled with the results.
So long and thanks for all the fish

Soup maker can only produce what you have given it. If you make your own soup you know what it contains, out of a tin you do not know.

Think I'll just stick to my big saucepan that I use to make soup or Stovies. No recipe I just bung in what's to hand. Always turns out ok.  ;D

Being on my own the soup makers ideal for me Raven I bung in stuff which needs using up and the soup maker cooks it, and its ready to eat in less than 20 minutes.

Ooh stovies Raven.  Not had those in a while. A favourite when I was a child.

No Alex22 it was 2 items I needed to use, rather than chuck them away I put them in the Soup maker along with veg stock and a pinch of salt and pepper. The results to me, because I like broccoli, tasted very nice and full of iron, so also good for me. Not going to use recipes just have fun mixing things which I may have at hand.

I know exactly what our tins of soup contain, plus all the calorific values, salt, sugar content etc.

Soup tin labels are a mine of information.

About a year ago we fancied making soup, so bought a soup maker, whilst finding a place to keep it in the kitchen store cupboard I discovered we already have one, still boxed up.  I put the newly acquired device alongside it and we have still not made any soup.

I love soup and I do not have a cooker. Only a microwave. So, I got a new slow cooker, and when I was trying to find a space for it...I found I had a new one still in the box...Still have not made any soup...That is me, granny mossx :D

If you have left overs from a meal, then making it into a soup saves throwing it a way and wasting money. If you eat out there will always be "soup of the day" on the menu, in other words yesterday left overs.
