Full moon tonight.

There are a lot of nutters on the road. One blew his horn at me several times wanting to pass. He has just crashed in to a wall.

I was coming home on the bus this afternoon, a bus coming the other way had stopped to let passengers off, a car pulled out overtaking from behind the bus right into our path, my bus slammed on his breaks, we all went flying up the bus, nobody was hurt thank goodness.

The psychiatric nurses I worked with used to say there were lots more problems on the wards at full moon.

Well Jacq,  as a qualified psychiatric nurse of 50 yrs standing and having heard this many times, all I can say is that in my experience it's total bollix.. ;D

Zoony,

Only what I was told, you have had more experience than me so i'll take your word for it.  One of those urban myths?

A few police forces seem to think there is a connection between violent incidents and a full moon

The connection is idiots who think it's a laugh to use it as a spurious reason for bad behaviour..Psychiatrically, there's no correlation..

I'll agree you are correct zoony but the very name lunatic suggests others believed the connection in the past.
So long and thanks for all the fish

Absolutely and you're right in the connection but it was Lunacy long before mental illness was recognised as such. I'm sure Wiki has a good explanation but it's getting late.. ;D

The full moon last night was called a Wolf Moon. I imagine one or two howled at it before setting off on their 4:30 run! 😁

I always howl at the full moon because it is very good, for three reasons. The first is it sharpens up the memory so you can recall things clearly with no effort. I forget what the  others are.

You forgot to mention that it was a Penumbral eclipse! Took this at 19.10 last night, apparently the eclipse was at its highest at that time😎
This post is my opinion, which you may not like, but I'm entitled to it.
