Man on benefits in pub.

I saw him  buy 2 pints of beer. Surely he should have his benefits cut.

Just the two? He needs to get his payments assessed. I heard CAB will help.

I seriously doubt he goes out much at all. If he did and mouthed off for real the way he suggests he wouldn't be on a pensioners forum because he'd not have survived that long.

This threads a bit maudlin but never fear somebody will be along soon to cheer it up.

Please leave Brian alone.
He can't help his mental health problems. In fact he swears blind his two dogs talk to him.
That man he speaks to him is another voice he hears in his head.

I'm inclined to doubt that Klondike.
My view is he just likes to brag what he's got.
As I have said before. You can't take it with you.
Brian is just a sad old man.

Maybe the poor man limits himself to two pints because he has health problems. My BP medication means that if I drunk much more than that I would probably suffer disabling hypotension! Offer to buy him a pint Bri to test this theory.

I can't tell you what the man in the pub told me, because I have forgotten.

I don't think he was the chap who got the piano stuck on a ramp. Until they shifted it the bass was higher than the treble.

As far as I am concerned, Brian's posts are both informative and stimulating, and long may he continue to post them.
