Today is my father's birthday.Born in 1890,he would now be 130.

My father’s birthday was the first of January. He would have been 117

I think your father,sadly,died young.Mine lived till he was 72,a fairly respectable age for a man in the 1960s.

So get creative Em. ;D .Keep the opening as it is and give it a sharp twist to the unexpected and you'll find a story just around the gravestone..

Not such a bad thing..I can't help it and it's always interfered with my straight thinking..Most of the love songs I ever wrote weren't, 'least they were until I got bored..All of a sudden the earthquake starts or someone sees the bear so they become story songs.. ;D .
