Thin white? line or thin black? line across the centre of the picture?

Is it an LED TV, a plasma TV an old tube TV?

Make, model & age would help.

It doesn't matter now D as I've ordered the replacement already but thanks for your interest.

For years I hung onto an old "tube" TV until it began to deteriorate. It started off with a gap at the top and bottom of the screen which gradually grew bigger. One day the poor thing just packed in. I never wanted a wide screen TV but that was all there was available. In the end my nephew presented me with a 35 inch flat screen (plenty big enough for me) when he bought one of those huge ones. He has TVs in every room. I dont like the big ones.
