Armed bodyguard?
« on: Feb 05, 2020, 07:58:59 PM »
Why does Mr Cameron need an armed bodyguard assumedly funded by the tax payer? Isn't it just a vanity? Nobody was THAT bothered even when he was in office..

Why indeed?  As an ex Prime Minister he is entitled to a publicly funded bodyguard for his lifetime, what a waste of money.

I saw the headline but didn't read the story - I assumed the armed bodyguard was from his days as PM. Does this mean that prat Major has one too? What about May?

Pity the passenger on Camerons flight that found the gun was not one of the people who have had their lives ruined, at having their home in the path of his lunatic railway construction.

I read somewher the other day he had "earned" £1.6 million since he stepped down as PM. With sort sort of money he should be paying for his own security.

An ex Prime Minister is someone who has lot their job usually because people are fed up with them and they are not up to the job any more.  So tell me why they are in so much demand and can earn so much money? It puzzles me.

Klondike, Agreed, I was thinking of  the more recent ones, Brown, Blair. Major, May. and worst of the bunch Cameron.

I don't rate Cameron very highly, but I wouldn't rate him as worse than Brown
