I was woken at 4 am this morning by a loud sound and at first thought it was the wind. Then I realized it was the local police helicopter whirling around. It seemed to circle three or four times before it finally went away. Probably using its thermal image technology to catch people with cannabis farms.

I've just walked to Morrisons & back & there's hardly any wind.

I think the Morrisons in New Brighton may be in for a battering today.  A warning has been put out to stay away from the front and Morrisons is only a few yards away from The Mersey Estuary.

It has been raining here since early evening yesterday and it's still hammering down but I can't hear a storm at the moment.

I was chatting to my daughter yesterday and she was worried about a long drive down the motorway to take my GD to a dancing competition.  She got me worried too  :(

No storm here, some light wind & some light rain but nothing out of the normal.

Rain lashing down but not very windy yet, but according to the forecast it's the calm before the storm.

We have decided ro cancel the 4.30am run tomorrow in view of the wind.
There are medicines you could try for that. Windeze or even simple charcoal tablets would help.
So long and thanks for all the fish

Very wet and windy here in Powys, and even more so when you live in a park home, lots of creaks and groans so fingers crossed.

It's pretty violent here in The Wirral.  I thought our fence was going but it's still there.  Thank heaven we had a new roof last year, at least we don't have to worry about that.

I was worried about my daughter and grand daughter on the motorway but they have arrived safely.

I've had the heater on in the conservatory so we'll sit in there and watch the weather.  Let's hope none of us gets any damage.

Well we had a hell of a night, surprised my shed, greenhouse and fences are still there. ::) The Town Centre had it's first victim of the storm too. The roof was blown off one of the pubs, lots of flats there too so I expect the people have been told to leave. :o The buildings are very old in that part of town.
Day two ahead of us now, AND, we have this up to and including Tuesday. :'(

Nothing much here in N.E Aberdeenshire.  There was rain overnight but that's gone now and the sky if fairly clear.  It's quite breezy, but nothing unusual for this area.
You'll have had your tea.
