If given a choice I'd rather be chained to the kitchen sink than watch football lol!

Neither in my case Jacqueline.

Years ago I felt the same, but I was persuaded - no make that forced to go to football matches and once I got the hang of the rules I started to enjoy it.   On TV it's not quite as exciting, but to actually be at a match is an experience.

well said Alex, i know you know more than a little about the game
i played local football so never got to many games
but i have been to Hampden Park quite often and visited Wembley  on jubilee weekend..lol
i also took my son to Elland Road to see Man City play Super Leeds
just so he could say he had seen Denis Law play.. i think Billy Bremner, and Peter Lorimer also played that day, plus an old favourite Big Jackie Charlton... now that was atmosphere

I've been to Hampden too to watch a Rangers v Celtic cup final, I can't remember what year but I remember losing my shoe :):)
I remember too the old Leeds team, well some of them like 'bite yer legs' I hope Leeds make it in to the Premier League next year, they deserve to be there.

Leeds are one of the two teams that come to Hillsborough where the supporters cause mayhem. The other is Millwall. They both attract a big police presence.

Sad for genuine fans IMO.
