the silver screen,

Yes I'm thinking about the actors and actresses who became big star in their heyday,

I suppose for me I liked both , from Gregory peck, john mills, Humphry bogard, Loretta young, jean Simmonds, Maureen Osullivan. to name just a few although there are many more that I seem to have forgotten,

Q, so what stars names can you remember, from the past,

I've loved cinema since childhood.  Some films and film stars before my time realy, mixed up in eras.  Fred Astair and Ginger Rogers,  Anna Neagle (brilliant dancer and actress), Jessie Matthews, Charles Laughton, Sir Cedrick Hardwick, Merle Obron, Susan Heywood, Humphrey Bogard, Laran Bacall, Bette Davies, John Mills, Margaret Lockwood, Stewart Granger, I could go on it I could remember their names!!

Film has recorded some of the finest actors we are ever likely to see. Thanks to the new electronic media, and of course dedicated people, they could live forever.
