Doesn't say much for Labour that she's still Shadow Home Sec..
I'm glad she is. The loonier they look the less folk will be daft enough to try to put them in power. I assume that when Corbyn shuffles off to spend more time with his marrows she will return to the back benches.

Well it'll not be much different from spending time on the front bench with his melons.

Yes the melon diet appears to be working there.

What was that vintage comedian's catchphrase "Ooh, the size of it?"

Yet again the courts are poking their noses in and wasting tax payers money. The rest of the party will soon follow even if Corbyn trying to block it.

You either have Law and follow it or you don't and enjoy the anarchy of everybody choosing to obey the bits they approve of and bugger the bits they don't.

It's only a delaying tactic as no law was broken as all the deportations were within the law.

It seems to be as a result of some of the criminals, who were being deported, not having a mobile phone signal so they couldn't call advice centres & the Home Office to discuss their case.

They're now back in detention & will have access to a mobile phone signal so they can phone for advice etc & at the end of the due process the Home Office will still deport them.

The 25 who have managed to get their deportation delayed included one person convicted of manslaughter, two rapists, seven convicted for crimes of violence, the rest include convictions for firearms offences, burglary and 14 drug dealers - just the sort of diversity we so badly need in this country.
The grounds for the appeal? An O2 signal failure on the (from memory) 3rd of February meant that they were unable to obtain adequate legal advice.
Does anybody really believe such a story - a story unprovable - for how do you disprove the claim 'my phone wouldn't work and therefore......' And how come they couldn't get the advice after the service failure was rectified?
Another example of the judiciary bending over backwards to find even the mist ridiculous reasons for being nice to the scum infecting our streets
