Flicked on the TV for a few minutes and they had Billie Eilish on Breakfast TV. I found her intensely irritating. She seemed fairly disinterested so why bother doing an interview?

Maybe she didn't realise she was being interviewed on TV.

Just listened to it - well, gave up after about 2 1/2 minutes - it is DREADFUL. As a theme song for the type of films of the Bond genre it is totally, utterly useless. Might go down well at an undertakers convention, but that's about it.

I used to be a Bond fan and wait for the next film to come out. However, by the early eighties I was tiring of them and Roger Moore's interpretation. They had also become more about stunts and special effects than any real storyline. Since then I have only seen the occasional one, tbe last being Skyfall. Even my daughter says the Connery ones were the best and he was the only one that was fancieable!

I'm not too keen on the quality of her voice, but the more I listen to this song the more I like it, it's haunting.

Genre's not important these days..The only criteria is that it must add to the bottom line and Billie Eilish with her huge fan-base does that..

Apparently she is very famous but the first I heard of her was in this thread. I still haven't heard the theme though as I CBA to bother.

You won't be aware of her because she's young and American...With a list of awards and achievements as long as yer arm..Remember when our grandparents knew nothing of The Beatles or Stones?..

My grandparents and parents used to watch top of the pops. Let's face it there wasn't much on TV back then.

Young Billie is a leading light in the LGBTQ music scene which is very much a cross-over thing with young people from all walks today and good to see in the light of so much antagonism from some parts of society, ours included.

I'm not sure she identifies as anything other than not straight. ;D  I don't know much about her..Perhaps a new version of Emo as it seems rather angsty but, as I said, 'not heard much..
