That's my favourite weather for driving.

The weather where we are is so boring, if it wasn't for the length of the days we'd be hard-pressed to tell what season it was.

Diasi, If I still had my big 4x4 I'd be on the road north at the moment, but it was starting to cost a fortune last summer in repairs so I got rid. I will get another one but until I do I'm stuck with a wee 1100cc Polo and I simply don't know how it would handle in that type of weather sooooo I'll wait a bit.

Mrs. T's Polo isn't bad in this weather, but not nearly as good as her previous Golf plus.  It was very good on icy roads.  Her worse car for handling in bad conditions, strangely enough, was her Volvo V40.
