Shortagees
« on: Mar 18, 2020, 12:59:58 PM »
What would you least like to go without in a shortage?

For me the worst thing to run out of would be tea. Followed by eggs. Two boiled eggs every morning 365 days a year.  ;D
I started out with nothing and still have most of it left.

Bread and milk I suppose Jacko.   I've not been able to get any yellow split peas for making soup - I guess everyone must have the same idea :)

Got a pack of dried peas this morning to make ham and pea soup with leftover hock from yesterday.  ;D

A decent red, although I couldn’t live on wine alone (but might be willing to try😊😊)

Bread. I like my hot buttered toast and ginger bikkies with my coffee.

bread - I love my morning toast and yogert.  I can drink a variety of things from tea  and coffee to peppermint tea and pepsi. I dont have to have milk in tea and coffee but prefer it.

Actually there is no shortage of anything, you just can't buy it in the shops.

Bread and milk too, no toast or milk in my coffee would be great hardship.  I do have a jar of Coffeemate, it's better than nothing if I run out of milk.

Earl Grey tea with no milk, coffee with coffee whitener powder.
