I like Anne what you see is what you get very much like her Dad Phil the Greek, Charles is his own man as well but a bit more diplomatic.

I like Harry and William and their children , the others no interest in them

As most know, in her younger days Princess Anne was a very accomplished horsewoman and competed in events (not sure of the correct nomenclature) A friend of ours also competed in those events. Anne was very popular amongst her fellow competitors and on one occasion she confided to Bronwen that she was sick of the press following her around as she competed. 'All they want,' she said. 'are pictures of me falling off, preferably into water!'

Not a life I would like to have their life is not their own , always under the microscope and long range camera lenses it must be quite a strain day in day out.

At least the queen or any of the bunch when in shut away from view, in  their many comfortable homes or castles can relax, unlike very many of the queens hard up subjects, with the 24/7 worry at the back of their minds, as to if they will be able to afford to eat, pay the rent/mortgage,  etc ,next week.

Well said & these people don't need to read a meaningless platitude, most likely written on her behalf.

Do you think it would be any different if we did not have the Monarchy ?, I don't there will always be some who do not have as much as others, whose lives are more difficult than others no matter which country you live in.

Just the vast fortune spent on 24/7 security for the entire parasitic horde, could be spent on more worthwhile causes .

I don't know how much but I would think the House of Commons and Lords probably cost much more year in year out, they are the ones that can ruin us and can and do interfere in our lives from day to day for the better or worse, HRM has no power to do that.

When my sister was small she always wanted a pony but of course my parents couldn't afford one so she got a budgie instead.

Asked nicely in Poundland today if they had any loo rolls. Not on display but we keep them in the back was the answer, how many ? the lady asked, just one pack I said so she returnded with a pack of 24 for £5.Treating people with courtesy goes a long way.

Well Done them, and lucky you...
My Problem just now is getting dog food, nothing here so I suppose I'll have to drive down to Inverness tomorrow and trail around the pet places. Bloody pain as it's over 100 miles each way. I had a look on line but the prices have rocketed on there. :(

I can remember the days before all these specialised dog and cat foods when pets just ate scraps and left overs. I cant recall any of our dogs dying of hunger.
No unjust system was ever broken or corrupt society changed by time servers and yes men who obeyed the orders of “legitimate authority”.
