I became a grandmother for the first time two months ago  (I was a late starter):)  It's a wonderful feeling when you first see your grandchild, I can't explain it.    Unfortunately I can only see the baby on video clips - for now.
I'll be so glad when this pandemic is over, I'm missing out on cuddles.  :)

We were lucky enough to be invited to the hospital a few hours after my grand daughter was born.

We hadn't realised that we would instantly fall in love with her and have a couple of treasured photos of us holding her with soppy looks on our faces.

I can't see them at the moment but we are doing video calls.  Normally I would have gone to stay at my daughter's house during the week so that she could go out to work but my lungs are too bad for me to risk it.  Doesn't stop me from feeling guilty though.
Everything I can't find is in a totally secure place.
